Homework 2019-2020

Hello and welcome to my homework page.

Please do the following.

    2. Find a study buddy who can turn in work and get handouts on the days that you are absent.
    3. Remember, as printed in my syllabus, homework is always due the next day unless otherwise printed/written on the board.

March 9-13

Monday

  • We spent the day working with the HS counselors. If you were absent on Monday please get your HS yellow sheet to your counselor ASAP!

Tuesday/Wednesday

  • Critiquing a Model... due on Monday 3/16 (first assignment of the 4th quarter.)

Thursday/Friday

  • Complete the Gizmo if not done in class. (Due on T/W next week)
  • Complete the Amplify feedback- instructions in classroom.

March 2-6

Monday

  • Staff Development; No School
  • Amplify Feedback form needs to be turned into classroom by 10 pm Monday night; Weeks 1 & 2 only

Tuesday/Wednesday

  • Mid test over what you have been learning... It will be recorded
  • Notes in class, do not lose them... Parts of a Chemical Equation

Thursday/Friday

  • pg. 72 Analyze the Results paragraph completed in class.
  • Worksheet on Balancing Chemical Equations due on T/W next week
  • Yellow HS registration paper due Monday... with parent signature
  • Odd classes will start in the Library (Even will end in the library.)

August 23-30

Monday

  • Complete the Lab Safety Doodle that was started in class.
  • The policy letter is due with signatures on T/W
  • You descriptive paragraph about your favorite food is due on T/W

Tuesday/Wednesday

  • Binder Reminders passes out today
  • Safety Test moved to next T/W
  • Start your Menu- Due on September 17/18 (Your Science day)

Thursday/Friday

  • Study for your Safety Test on Tuesday/Wednesday next week

August 19-23

Monday

  • Get signatures on the letters that went home in class today.
  • Please have all supplies in class by this Thursday/Friday.

Tuesday/Wednesday

  • Review the Flinn Safety Guide- Signatures (student & parent) are needed by 8/29 & 8/30, this is also the date of the safety test.
  • Make sure your notebook is in class on Thursday/Friday; we will be setting up our ISN in class on Friday
  • Check out the link in Google classroom about accuracy/precision and reading basic lab equipment. (It is just practice)

Thursday/Friday

  • Notebooks set up in class (ISN) This is the 3 ring binder
  • Observations activity and summary; Write a 7+ sentence paragraph that describes your favorite food. Use details and include a picture if possible. Typing is preferred.

August 15 & 16

  • We worked on our Science Chat in class. This is a great way to get a preview of what we will be covering in class this year.

Week of September 3-6

Tuesday/Wednesday

  • In class you needed to complete the Lab Safety Walk Around
  • Your Lab Safety & Equipment Test is today

Thursday/Friday

  • Lab in class- due in class today before you leave.
