          Throughout my undergraduate studies, I have gained hands-on exposure to Thailand’s railway industry through technical site visits, maintenance facility tours, professional training, and engineering-related activities.

These experiences have allowed me to explore railway operations, rolling stock maintenance, railway systems, and the working environment of leading rail transportation organizations. They have also strengthened my understanding of how engineering knowledge is applied in real-world railway systems.

YEAR 1 — INDUSTRY EXPOSURE

Exploring Railway Engineering Beyond the Classroom

          During my first year of studying Railway Systems Engineering, I had the opportunity to gain first-hand exposure to Thailand’s railway industry through technical site visits, maintenance facility tours, training programs, and engineering-related activities.

These experiences allowed me to explore different railway systems, observe real-world maintenance environments, and gain a broader understanding of railway engineering beyond the classroom.

Technical Site Visit

          Explored railway maintenance facilities and gained an initial understanding of rolling stock maintenance, railway operations, and engineering work environments.

Makkasan Railway Maintenance Facility
Technical Study Visit

          Observed railway maintenance facilities and professional engineering environments, gaining insight into rolling stock maintenance and railway workshop operations.

BTS SkyTrain System
Technical Site Visit

          Explored the operational and maintenance environment of an urban rail transit system and gained exposure to railway infrastructure, rolling stock, and related engineering practices.

Technical Study Visit

          Gained an overview of urban rail transportation systems and observed the relationship between railway operations, infrastructure, and maintenance.

SRT Red Line Maintenance Center
Technical Site Visit

          Observed the maintenance environment of the Red Line railway system and gained exposure to railway rolling stock, maintenance practices, and engineering operations.

Training & Engineering Activities
