Reimbursement

**All funds for the 23-24 Fiscal Year have been expended for tuition reimbursement. This form will reopen for the 24-25 year on  August 1, 2024. ** 

Suffolk Public Schools is dedicated to fostering the ongoing growth and development of our teachers. To effectively achieve this goal, we are actively harnessing our grant funds to offer reimbursement opportunities for diverse professional learning endeavors. 

SPS offers generous reimbursements for our instructional staff's professional development. We provide up to $3000 per fiscal year. Please note, that doctoral coursework reimbursement is not allowable under Federal and State Title II guidelines. All requests are subject to final approval by the VDOE). Additionally, we cover the expenses of Praxis exams and other initial teacher licensure tests upon presenting passing scores. Furthermore, once licensure is achieved, SPS reimburses the costs associated with National Board Certification components.
