Suffolk Public Schools Gifted Program
The Suffolk Public Schools provides enrichment and instruction that develops, stimulates, and fosters critical thinking, sparks creativity, encourages problem solving, and develops independent research skills through the use of differentiation, in-depth learning in core areas, real-world problem solving and application, cooperative learning, and a focus on 21st Century skills.
Students in second grade participate in a district-wide screening for formal evaluation. Additional open referral windows for nominations are advertised for grade 3-8 students.
