PBIS improve social, emotional and academic outcomes for student success

"Dyer Dragons Breathe F.I.R.E" is a school-wide system to be delivered in all common settings. Staff will pair recognition of the school-wide expectations (students “caught” being safe, respectful, responsible and helpful) with the exchange of a Dragon Dollar. The Dragon Dollar has a front side where staff and students can identify which expectation was/were demonstrated. Students will write their names on the back side of the ticket. Dragon Dollars are delivered in school-wide settings such as hallways, cafeteria, playground, office.

At the end of each week, six dollars are pulled from the school cauldron and the student whose name is on the back of the dollar wins a prize. When the cauldron is filled, the students earn a whole-school reward.
