Welcome message

My name is Tom Tbone Hyland. I have been at SPHS for 31 years. I started the Learning Alternatives Program in 1990 and we have been going strong ever since. We have grown and matured in many ways, but our fundamental missions has remained intact.

Relationships, Respect and Responsibility lay the groundwork for everything we do.

I teach American Traditions, American History, World History, English 11 and Human Rights and Issues of GenocideI

I coach Golf and Tennis

I enjoy the great outdoors and exercise by hiking, walking, cycling, tennis, golf and boating

I am an avid reader of history, biography, and historical non-fiction.
