This sport was created by Native Americans in the 1400's. Often the game was played for leisure or territorial disputes among tribes. The modern day rules were made by Canadian George Beers. Lacorsse has gone with many different leasgues trying to get a foot hold in the athletics world but today has rulseuted into leagues (USA and Candada). the Primer Lacrosse League (Field Lacorsse) and the Nation Lacrosse League (Box Lacrosse).
