Welcome to Grade 4 AG Math!
This year students will meet remotely twice a week for an hour at a time.
Some of the topics that we will learn and explore will include:
analyze patterns and relationships
multiply and divide multi-digit numbers
find and name factors, multiples, prime factorization, Greatest Common Factor, Least Common Multiple and relate these concepts to help us solve the Thousand Locker Problem
navigate the coordinate system
add and subtract fractions
write and interpret numerical expressions

Class expectations...
Students will receive standard-based grades: 4 (Exceeds), 3 (Meets), 2 (Working Towards) or 1 (Limited Progress).
Students are expected to be Prompt and attend Google Meets.
Students will be expected to participate in classroom discussions and be Positive and Polite.
Students will be expected to come to class Prepared with all necessary materials and to be Productive by focusing on the lesson agenda.
Students will receive work from me in GoogleClassroom. It will also be posted on my website.
