Have you ever wondered what is inside your computer? In April 2015, fourth grade Digital “Techknowledgy” students were given the opportunity to find out. First, students watched online videos to learn about the internal and external components of the computer, then they researched the inner workings of the computer and compiled a glossary of terms. Once their research was complete they were able to dissect old discarded computers. These hands-on activities gave the students the chance to see what really goes on inside their devices.

Once the computers were fully dissected, third grade classes were able to see and touch the inside components.
