EightH grade Teachers

I am most thankful for finally being able to go back to normal. Most people will say that they are thankful for their families, which I agree, but this year has been hectic. I am thankful for all of the places opening back up, school reopening and most importantly seeing the people I love most without a mask on. Also, I can't forget the main thing I'm thankful for: my family and friends!

During the Covid break, several people said “We are never going to be allowed out in public again.” That news had made me desperately upset because I knew I wouldn’t be able to see my grandparents and my friends for an even longer period of time. I am so so thankful for schools reopening because now I have an everyday routine and I feel like a normal person again! Even though lots of students were iffy about returning to school, I think it benefits us all. We get in person teaching again which is so helpful rather than having to learn on a little app called Zoom.

The biggest thing I'm extremely thankful for would have to be all of my 8th grade teachers who made it possible for me to still have an education. I would like to thank Mrs. Mahoney for always offering help to me in math when I am confused. She is always willing to explain problems to me, and even willing to explain what I did wrong on tests!
