Education:

I am a St. Patrick School alumni and I graduated with the class of 2000.

In 2004 I graduated from Trinity High School.

I graduated from St. Bonaventure university with the class of 2008 earning a BS degree in Elementary/Early Childhood Education and with the class of 2009 earning an MS degree in Advanced Inclusive Processes

Our Classroom:

Our classroom is very colorful.

We have many different books to read.

Our classroom has a wonderful prayer area and a crucifix on the wall for prayer everyday.

We have a small computer station, a couple lap-tops, a few i-pads, and a Smart Board.

We also have lockers and mailboxes for every student.

Finally, we have many different resources/manipulatives that will help us in our learning every day.

Fun Facts:

I am of Irish decent and a very small part Native American. I am very proud of both. I am a mixture of others things as well, but mostly Irish. I love Celtic design and culture, as well as Native American art and culture.

I am a huge animal lover.

Favorite Restaurants: Rustic Tavern, Chili's, Fiddler's, TJ Rockwell's, Momma Spriggs

Favorite Candy: Sea Salt Caramels, Mike and Ikes, gummies, KitKat, Reeses, Rolo, Peanut Brittle, anything with Dark Chocolate

Favorite Movie: Chronicles of Narnia Series, The Hunger Games, and Captain America/Avengers

Favorite Book: The False Prince Series and The Hunger Games Series (young adult series)

Favorite Super Hero: Jesus is the ultimate super hero, but my favorite Marvel Superhero is Captain America (I like many of the Marvel and DC Super Heroes).

I like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! (Raphael is my favorite)

I am also a fan of Snoopy from the Peanuts characters.

When I went to school at St. Pats I played basketball and soccer for the school. I also played little league baseball in the Carlisle community league. My team name was the Carlisle Cement.

While at Trinity High School I was one of the founding members of the softball program that is currently in place at THS. I was the catcher on the team and I also played slow pitch softball for the community league in Carlisle.

I am now part of the St. Patrick Church Softball team. I am also a coach for the Girls on the Run Program at St. Patrick School.

I was a Girl Scout at St. Pats from Daisies to Senior Scouts for about 13 or 14 years.

I was born in Fort Hood, Texas and I am very proud of that. I hope to travel there someday so I can experience it as an adult. I don't remember it much from my first two years of life. :)

Family:

I have 1 older sister, 1 younger sister, and 2 younger brothers (Siobhan, Brendan, Kateri, Sean).

My mother is Yvonne Kane and she is the Pre-K aide here at St. Pats.

My father is Thomas Kane and he was in the US Army. He is now retired and works as a civilian lawyer for the Carlisle Barracks and helps out with track at St. Pats and Trinity High School.

I have a niece and two nephews who live in Kentucky. (Moira, Liam, Conor) One nephew in heaven. (Gavin)

I have a nephew in New Jersey as well. (Ronan was just born this summer)

I have two cats at home right now. Cleopatra is a black cat and Aphrodite is a gray striped cat with some calico spots. I also have a classroom hamster named Leia and a classroom Beta fish named Beast.

My dream trip came true when I went to Ireland in the summer of 2014. My new dream is to go again! I would also love to go to Scotland and/or Universal Studios!
