Common App

What is it?

The Common Application is a college application portal that allows a student to apply to over 800 colleges with one main application. Students can upload all documentation to the Common App instead of sending materials separately: transcripts, essays, letters of recommendation, resume etc. There is no additional cost to use the Common App.

Missouri Colleges on the Common App:

Columbia College, Drury University, Lindenwood University, Maryville University, Missouri Southern State University, Missouri S&T, Rockhurst University Saint Louis University, SEMO, Saint Louis School of Pharmacy, Stephens College, Truman State, University of Central Missouri, Mizzou, UMKC, UMSL, Washington University in St. Louis, Webster University, Westminster College and William Jewell College.

Adding your counselor to your Common App

The Common App will ask for your counselor's email to provide your transcript, school profile and counselor recommendation. Counselors can also add application fee waivers for students on free/reduced lunch.

Adding Ms. Ratcliff to your Common App

All students applying with the Common App should add Ms. Ratcliff as an "Advisor" and your counselor as "Counselor." To invite an Advisor, go to the Recommenders and FERPA section of your App. At the top of the page under the For All Colleges section, you will see a link to invite an advisor.
