One of the things I miss most about in-person school is walking down the hallway past the students' artwork. Their pictures are unfailingly exuberant, charming, joyful, skillful, expressive, fresh, and surprising. Art, especially kids' art, lifts the spirit.
Sharing and talking about their artwork builds young artists' confidence. Sharing says "your attempts are interesting and worthy of study and discussion!" And sharing ALL of our work, not just our "best" pieces, helps to develop a growth mindset and non-judgemental understanding that we're all growing, all of the time.
Students who prefer to remain anonymous are welcome to do so, but please do share! Use these links to add to our student galleries below! (if you're unable to, email it to me instead)
