ACT Registration and Info
ACT - a college entrance test that’s a popular alternative to the SAT. Most colleges will accept either test or, if a student has taken both, the comparatively better score. The ACT differs in a number of ways from the SAT, both in test format and content.
There are a number of local test centers (East Aurora, Yorkshire Pioneer, Frontier, and Hamburg) that offer this test. The test is offered mulitple times a year in New York State in (April, June, July, September, October, and December). Registration deadlines generally occur 6 weeks prior to an administration, please see the website below for the specifics.
Registration information on this test can be found at www.act.org. The cost of the ACT test is $65.00 for the base test with additional fees for Writing and Science “Add-Ons” (check with a potential college RE what they’d recommend taking).
