Springs offers exciting opportunities throughout the year for students in grades 4–12 to showcase their talents, build confidence, and connect with peers who share their interests. These enriching academic events provide students with opportunities to learn beyond the classroom, celebrate their achievements, develop lifelong skills, and create lasting memories with fellow Springs students. We encourage all interested students to participate and discover new passions along the way!
History Day: Students become historians as they research a topic, analyze sources, and create a project that brings history to life. History Day develops critical thinking, research, writing, and presentation skills while helping students make meaningful connections between the past and present.
Science & Engineering Fair: Young scientists and engineers investigate questions, conduct experiments, and design innovative solutions to real-world problems. Participants strengthen problem-solving, scientific reasoning, creativity, and communication skills while exploring topics they are passionate about.
All-School Spelling Bee Invitational: Students challenge themselves through friendly competition while expanding their vocabulary, improving language skills, and building confidence speaking in front of an audience. The Spelling Bee is a fun way to develop strong literacy skills that support success across all subject areas.
Speech Meet: Whether sharing an informative speech, persuasive argument, or inspirational message, students gain valuable public speaking experience in a supportive environment. Speech Meet helps students develop confidence, communication skills, poise, leadership abilities, and the ability to express their ideas effectively.
