About mastery week

Mastery Week is a week of digital sharing and online collaboration that takes place each summer, hosted by Springpoint and several national partners. Practitioners and organizations share their ideas, tips, resources, and questions - learning from each other and finding valuable resources to drive their work in an innovative system.

Last year, we featured tools and best practices to support educators in mastery communications strategies and this year will focus on assessment and measurement in a mastery-based environment. The week is designed to help practitioners in mastery-based (also known as competency-based) schools learn from the collective knowledge of the field. We envision this week as a time for experts from across the country come together to share knowledge and resources to help schools plan for the upcoming school year.

Special thanks to our partners including Great Schools Partnership, Mastery Collaborative, Next Generation Learning Challenges, KnowledgeWorks, Center for Collaborative Education, Getting Smart, reDesign, Building 21, Assessment for Learning Project, CompetencyWorks, and iNACOL.
