Attendance

Absence(s)

Attendance is an important part in any academic success especially during an abbreviated course such as the Summer Bridge Program. We are here to provide space and time for your child to gain credits. There are only 3 absences allowed beginning June 6^th. There is no registration after June 8^th for that student will have missed the 3 allotted days. If a student skips a class 3 times, they will be dismissed from the program. If a student opts to leave early, they will be marked absent. If a student arrives more than 15 minutes late to school (7:16 a.m.), they will be marked absent.

Tardies

Tardies will begin at 7:05 a.m., June 6^th. If a student does not have a schedule, they will not be marked tardy. After the first few days, students should be adjusted, and on Thursday June 8^th, tardies will count for attendance purposes. When a class starts and after 15 minutes, if the student is not present, they will be marked absent. If a student leaves a class and are away from their class for more than 15 minutes, they will be marked absent.

Tardy Count

3 Tardies= One absence

6 Tardies= Two absences

9 Tardies= Three absences and student will be dismissed from the SB 2022 Program
