Dress Code

Pants:

• Khaki, navy blue or blue jeans (denim)
• Fitted at the waist
• Belted (if pants have loop
• No oversized or baggy clothing as well as pants that are torn or worn

Jumpers, Skirts, Skorts or Shorts:

• Khaki, navy blue or blue jeans (denim)
• Shorts should approach the knee
• Belted (if pants have loops)
• Jumpers should be solid (khaki, navy or denim), no appliqués or designs

Shirts/Blouses:

• Solid red, white, navy, light blue (any other color is not part of our standardized dress)
• Long or short sleeves
• With or without collars
• School spirit shirt
• Shirts should be tucked in (unless it has a band like a sweatshirt)
• No appliqués or designs

Cold Weather Attire:

• Sweatshirts, turtlenecks must be red, white, navy or light blue
• No sweatpants or wind suits
• Leggings should be solid in color (red, white or navy), no appliqués or designs and worn under skirt of appropriate
• length.

Hair:

• Must be clean and neat
• Must not be distracting or interfere with the learning environment
• Male student’s hair may not extend below the bottom of a sport shirt collar
• Afros may not be more than 2 inches long
• No Mohawks or etching

Shoes:

Students must wear appropriate shoes. Any enclosed shoe with a backing is permitted. Flip Flops or similar shoes are not permitted because of safety considerations as students walk the hallways.

Jewelry:

• No oversized earrings, distracting jewelry, accessories with inappropriate messages
• Noisy or distracting jewelry or accessories may not be worn.
