Our Gifted & Talented (G/T) program is dedicated to cultivating creativity, critical thinking, and a deep love for learning in students with advanced academic abilities. This hub serves as a central hub for educators, parents, and students to explore G/T opportunities, resources, and events across our district.
Here, you will find information on our enrichment programs, including Odyssey of the Mind, A creative problem solving competition that challenges the participants to think outside the box and collaborate on developing innovative solutions. We also encourage participation in Academic UIL, where students can show-off their talents in a variety of academic contests, ranging from math and science to writing and speaking events.
Whether you are looking for eligibility details, upcoming events, or getting involved in volunteer opportunities, this hub is your one-stop source to all things G/T in Spring ISD. We are committed to to nurturing the potential in our gifted learners and celebrating their achievements!
The state's goal for G/T students is to ensure that students who participate in G/T services demonstrate self-directed learning, thinking, research, and communication skills. G/T students develop innovative products and sophisticated performances that reflect individuality and creativity and are targeted to an audience outside the classroom.
