Trinity College of London exams
Congratulations to the following music students and their teachers on the excellent results achieved in the recent Trinity College of London exams:

Young Performers' Concert
We are delighted that Cara Ronan has been invited to play her Piano examination piece at the Young Performers' Concert at the Erin Hall in Rondebosch on Saturday 16 November at 11am.
The players are selected from the top candidates of the last London Trinity College of Music examinations. Cara does not have her results yet, but this bodes well!!
CAPE TOWN CHILDREN'S CHOIR
Springfield heartily endorses the initiative of a CAPE TOWN CHILDREN'S CHOIR being started in the Southern Suburbs at Beau Soleil in Kenilworth. Interested boys and girls between the ages of 9 and 15 are invited to see the attached flyer and apply for application forms for auditions. This is a wonderful initiative for our musical girls who would like to do more choral singing outside of school.
Girls and boys (unchanged voices), ages 9 to 15, are invited to audition to be founder members of the Cape Town Children’s Choir.
This new choir will be launched at the start of 2020 at Beau Soleil Music Centre, Kenilworth.
The Cape Town Children’s Choir will enable young singers to develop their musical skill in a positive and stimulating environment; provide a place where they will be surrounded by musically talented friends who strive for excellence; create an opportunity to develop a life-long love for music by becoming part of this dynamic new venture.
Applications are now being accepted.
