Welcome to Mr. Kruk's Science webpage. This year in science we cover three main topics, physics, earth science, and biology. In physics we study how forces can affect the motion of different objects and discuss forces that act over a distance such as gravity, magnetism and electricity. During our earth science unit we dig deep to the center of the Earth to study how our planet's interior is organized. We also focus on the surface of our planet and study how the theory of plate tectonics has literally shaped our planet through constructive and destructive forces. Finally we travel through the wonderful world of biology.  We start by studying how life has evolved through time, then dive deep into what makes up our DNA and how traits are passed down from parent to offspring.
