There is lots of information here including links to individual class pages, communication links, awesome tools, team rules, how to best care for your chromebook, special announcements, details on homework, when that homework is due, and much more. Awesome tools:

Google Classroom - All teachers distribute information and assignments through Google Classroom. Each student will have a Google Classroom for each of their teachers. Students are responsible for checking each of their Google Classrooms Daily. Please don't be shy about asking your child to show you all of their Google Classrooms. If you'd like to watch a good tutorial for parents, check out this YouTube video.

Powerschool - This is our digital gradebook. Not only will you see the overall grade a child is earning in each class, but you can click on those grades to see scores and comments for individual assignments. There is a web version and an app. The code for the app is on the district web page. If you do not have a Powerschool account set up, please follow the instructions linked on the district webpage or contact the office. This is the best way to check in to see if you child is completing their work on time and performing successfully.

Whether you are in the building working in our classrooms, participating in class through Google Classroom, or attending a live session through Google Meet, there are certain expectations each student should strive to meet. Please review the slides below and consider what it would look like and sound like if you were meeting these expectations.

PBIS:

Dear Team Triumph Families,

We're excited to announce that Team Triumph will be using Class Dojo as our primary communication platform this year! We strongly encourage both parents and students to actively engage with Dojo to stay connected with our team story, which will be filled with exciting classroom happenings, upcoming events, and important announcements. Additionally, Class Dojo will serve as our main tool for implementing PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports), where students will earn points for meeting our schoolwide expectations and have points deducted when they fall short. Both parents and students can view these point changes in real time, allowing you to see exactly what behaviors are being recognized or addressed. Our primary goal is complete transparency in supporting your child's success. Students who meet our monthly team PBIS expectations will be invited to participate in "Fun Friday" activities, which have included open gym time, pumpkin painting, card and board games, jewelry making, BINGO, and other engaging events. Students who don't qualify for Fun Friday will participate in our reset room to reflect and refocus. We encourage you to reach out to any Team Triumph teacher if you have questions or need clarification about Dojo or our PBIS system.
