COVID-19 : Transition Activities for Students and Families

Keep a journal on the computer/ note book about life after graduation: interesting types of work, fun activities, goals (like getting a Texas Driver's License or travelling).

Do a search on interesting occupations, e.g., the military.

Do a search on colleges, universities, trade schools, places to get job training e.g., to be a cosmologist or work on cars (be specific in your online search).

Create a dream job, e.g., location- work and live in the mountain range setting, help animals that have been abused, be my best in health fitness (e.g., running, individual strength) or work with numbers (e.g., business accounting or finance).

Interview someone who has a job that you like, e.g., an uncle who is a firemen or an aunt who owns her own business.

If you have comments or questions about any of the above areas, please contact your Spring Branch Campus' Transition Specialist or Paul Bryan at Paul.Bryan@gmail.com
