A numerical grading scale will be used on report cards for 7th and 8th grade students. Students’ grades will be based on a numerical scale for tests, quizzes and other classroom activities. The following scale will be used to determine students’ letter grades on report cards:
98-100 A+ Consistently demonstrates excellent performance
93-97 A Consistently demonstrates excellent performance
90-92 A- Consistently demonstrates excellent performance
87-89 B+ Performing above average
83-86 B Performing above average
80-82 B- Performing above average
77-79 C+ Satisfactory
73-76 C Satisfactory
70-72 C- Satisfactory
60-69 D Improvement Needed
Below 60 Unsatisfactory
***Grades 3-6 will be using standards based report cards. The report cards may look different for different specials and different grade levels. More info will be published when the report cards are finalized.
