Our Year at a Glance

This year in 8th Grade Religion, our students will begin by completing the remainder of their Confirmation preparation, which is such an important milestone in their faith journey.

After Confirmation, we’ll spend the rest of the year exploring some of the foundations of our Catholic faith, including:

• The history of the Church and how it has grown and changed over time.
  
  

• Morality and what it means to live as people of faith in today’s world.
  
  

• The power and importance of prayer in our daily lives.
  
  

• The inspiring lives of the saints as role models of holiness.
  
  

And finally, an introduction to vocations, helping students understand the many ways God calls each of us to serve.
