Welcome to the Splendora FFA Chapter!
What is FFA? Click on the following link to learn more:
Our chapter maintains over 150 active members. FFA members may choose to participate in various aspects of the FFA, including, but not limited to: Leadership Development Events, Career Development Events, Public Speaking Contests, showing livestock, or maintaining a supervised agricultural experience. Projects and contest require an enormous amount of commitment and responsibility. We strive to be the best at anything our chapter participates in and embody out district's motto of cultivating exceptional people. Many important experiences, such as, the aspects of the free enterprise system, time management, self motivation, financial planning and accurate record keeping can be gained from raising a supervised agriculture experience project or participating in a leadership contest. Raising animal projects is not a requirement, but is an excellent way to develop responsibility, a solid character, build on a college fund and have fun along the way.
We are committed to make a positive difference in the lives of the younger generations through the variety of resources and opportunities agricultural education and the FFA has to offer.
We believe agricultural education has tremendous value and opportunity for ALL students and invite them to take advantage of the numerous opportunities and experiences that has made the Splendora ISD ag science department one of the most productive programs throughout the state and nation.
