Update Your Child’s Medical Profile on NFORMA Over the Holidays
As we approach the holiday break, we ask all families to review and update their child’s medical profile on NFORMA during the school holidays. You will have six weeks to complete this. It is important that we have the most up-to-date information regarding allergies, medications, and any health conditions to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students in 2026.
Action Required:
Check your child’s medical details in NFORMA.
Update any changes, including new medications, allergies, or medical conditions.
Submit the updated information, health plans, and any medications to the school office on the first day of the new school year.
Accurate medical information allows our staff to provide the best care and respond promptly in case of an emergency.
Thank you for your attention to this important matter and for helping us maintain a safe environment for all students.
Please be advised that all student medication will be sent home on Tuesday, 16th December, the last day of school for the year.
For any locked-away prescribed ongoing medications and Epipens, a parent or guardian must collect these directly from the school office on this day. These medications cannot be sent home with students.
If your child will not be attending on the last day of school, please contact the office to arrange an earlier collection of their medication.
If you have any questions or require support with collection arrangements, please let us know.
Thank you for your cooperation.
At St Peter's Primary School we are committed to keeping our school community safe and healthy. We want to update families on current health concerns and important allergy/anaphylaxis reminders. Current Illnesses;
Influenza A and B
Flu season is still upon us, and we are seeing an increase in cases of Influenza A and B among students. These highly contagious viruses can cause symptoms such as fever, sore throat, cough, body aches, fatigue, and sometimes vomiting or diarrhoea. To help reduce the spread, please encourage your child to wash their hands frequently and stay home if they are unwell.
Gastro/Stomach bugs
Gastro can spread quickly in schools. If your child develops symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhoea, stomach pain, or fever, please keep them at home until at least 48 hours after their last episode. This helps reduce the spread to other students and staff. We encourage all families to remind children about good hand hygiene.
Chickenpox
A couple of cases of chickenpox (varicella) have been reported in the Junior Year levels. Please monitor your children for symptoms such as fever, fatigue, loss of appetite, or an itchy, red rash that may develop into fluid-filled blisters. If your child shows any signs of chickenpox, keep them at home and consult your healthcare provider. Maintaining good hygiene, including regular handwashing, is recommended. While vaccinated children are less likely to contract chickenpox, they should still be observed for any symptoms.
