Volunteerism Credit

PROCESS:

Prior to beginning

1. Review AP-601 Appendix C

2. Download  Ministry of Education Volunteerism Policy

   • Student completes Sections 1, 2 & 3 from Appendix D: Volunteerism 30 Plan Template

   • Ensure all names & signatures are on page 12

3. Create a plan to check in/update student log

Upon successful completion of 100 hours (minimum)

1. Download Form 8.1 (below)

2. Fill in all required information

3. Scan and send the following to dataservices@spiritsd.ca  (Please cc: bruce.mellesmoen@spiritsd.ca and cc penny.walter@spiritsd.ca  )

   • Completed form 8.1

   • Appendix D: Volunteerism 30 Plan Template

   • Appendix E: Student Log

Retain all documentation for Volunteerism Credit for a minimum of five (5) years
