Instant Pay Cards

Welcome to the Instant Pay Card!

This brief job aid will assist as you set up your Instant Pay Card.  Additionally you can click on the following links for a brief video tutorial:

Please note these steps are in order.  Please create your Instant profile before downloading the app.

If you selected Instant Pay Card in your Spherion electronic onboarding (eOB) package, you will receive an auto-generated email directly from Instant Financial within 24 hours of being hired or rehired by the Spherion branch.  Please be sure to check your SPAM/Junk folder if you do not see the email, just in case you have your high security settings.

Step 1 - Set Up Your Instant Profile and Pair a Card

Go to your email and open the welcome email from push-notifications@app-mail.instant.co

1. Click on the “Sign up for Instant” button to sign in to your account. Email is the employee’s user id:

2. Create a password. (Be sure to review the password requirements and verify personal information)

3. When logging in for the first time from a new device, you will be instructed to

enter your date of birth.

4.  Once in the App, you need to pair your card under the “Card Options” as shown below:

5.  Click into “Connect a new Instant card” given to you by the Spherion branch or click  “Request a new card” to have one shipped directly to you.  

2. Go to the app and sign in.  NOTE: DO NOT choose “new to Instant”.

3. USERNAME: Enter in the same email address where you received the link in step 1, this should also be the same email address used when completing your Spherion eOnboarding.

4. PASSWORD: Enter in the password you

created in step 1.

5. The Dashboard screen will appear. You’re all set to start receiving daily offers!

Understand Early Wage Access

Instant financial offers Spherion employees free and instant access to up to 50% of a shift’s earnings, the next day, for eligible assignments. (See note below for eligibility)  

Eligibility NOTE:  Early Wage Access (EWA) is available to you only if you are:

• On an assignment with Spherion utilizing Spherion WebTIME electronic time keeping or STATUS time clocks

• You are entering your time in and time out each day and saving the entry.

• You do not have any active garnishment orders being deducted from your pay.

Getting Started

Work your first day.  Enter your time into Spherion WebTIME as instructed (time in, time out and lunch) and SAVE your entry.  NOTE: Do not submit your time until all of your daily time has been entered at the end of the week.  Time must be submitted so it can be approved and your payroll can be processed by Spherion.   

Then, at 10 a.m. the next day, check the app or website to view and accept your offer up to 50 percent of the previous day’s pay. (offer expires in 12 hours) This amount will appear in the center circle. Tap or click in that area, and the money will automatically be loaded onto your INSTANT card. You can use the funds immediately.
