In third grade music, we continue to learn to read rhythms and melodies on the treble staff. Third grade is an especially exciting year because we also play the recorder! The recorder is a woodwind instrument that will allow students to experience playing and creating melodies on an instrument. We also continue to focus on in-tune singing and expression through music.
