In second grade music class, we begin to learn how to read music notation! We start with rhythm notation and then begin to read notes on the treble staff (the 5 lines and 4 spaces that musicians read from). We also learn about the instruments of the orchestra, and continue to focus on steady beat and expressive, in tune singing.
