Candidacy

Each year, we look for young men and women  ages 12 to not yet 15 by November 1 who are interested in serving as a goodwill ambassador of the St. Paul Winter Carnival to communities across Minnesota and Wisconsin. Our candidates can come from anywhere in the Realm of Boreas as long as they have a love of the St. Paul Winter Carnival!

Our candidacy program starts in November and goes until our Junior Royalty Coronation in early January. Candidates can expect to attend about 10 candidate events such as service projects, Winter Carnival events, our annual fundraiser, and an interview.
