The Rev. Dr. Mauricio J. Wilson:
Welcome to the Community page! This is where we gather as an entire community. It’s a place to find our people and to celebrate our spirit. There is strength and energy in community and we look forward to new ways that we'll find to be in this space, together, at this time.

Second Grade students lead us in a powerful chapel about identity. By sharing their identities with our community, they bring us closer together. The Second Grade teachers and Music Teacher Sahar Miller created a beautiful presentation. Take a look!
As the Winter Solstice approaches and the Earth tilts toward Spring, we honor many traditions that shine light on cold, dark days. This December, we continue to celebrate the festival of light--Hannukah, Christmas, Las Posadas, Kwanzaa--with a candlelight ceremony and a retrospective on the pageants and concerts at St. Paul's that tell a story of our traditions.
St. Paul's Desi families celebrate Diwali, the festival of lights. Students invite us into their homes to share in their traditions of favorite meals and outdoor sparklers as they welcome in the new year. The Diwali chapel is our only family-led chapel, so far!
Our Eighth Grade team invited Aztec dancers to the roof of our Lower School building to acknowledge the land of the Ohlone peoples on which our school now stands. Students presented Dia de los muertos rituals from across the Latin world and ended with an ofrenda that the teachers set up at Lakeside Park.
This was the first student-led chapel of the school year, hosted and performed by our 7th grade students! It was a wonderful and entertaining presentation, which taught us about the Tashlich ritual. In addition, the St. Paul's community honored the lives of Breonna Taylor and Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
