SCHS Career Pathways
Spencer County High School offers 18 career pathways within six career clusters. We offer career pathways in Agriculture, Business, Teaching & Learning (Education), Engineering, Family & Consumer Science, and Health Science.
Spencer County high school students (10th - 12th grades) can choose to attend the Shelby County ATC for classes in Business Technology, Information Technology, Health Sciences, Computerized Manufacturing and Machining (Machine Tool), Industrial Maintenance Technology, Automotive Technology, Welding Technology, and Diesel Technology.
According to data from Infinite Campus and the Technical Education Database System (TEDS), in Kentucky secondary schools during the 2022-2023 school year:
8 out of 10 students participated in Kentucky CTE, an 11% increase from 2021-2022.
63,425 students participated in a Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO).
Over 25,000 students graduated with at least one postsecondary credential.
Students earned 18,377 industry-valued certifications from the Kentucky Workforce Innovation Board's valid industry certification list.
Together, we are shaping the future by preparing Kentucky's students for the careers of tomorrow, collaborating closely with business and industry partners to do so.
