Innovations Class Syllabus

Our class will use the technology in our room and online to correspond, present, turn in projects, demonstrate skills, etc.

Myself and my classroom will adhere to the Speedway student handbook regarding attendance, tardies, cheating, technology usage, cell phone usage, etc. In order for students to gain the most knowledge and experience from my classroom, students must follow a few additional procedures/rules.

Finally, I will utilize the Indiana State Standards for Middle School Business and Information Technology, Personal Finance, and Career Exploration. Each of these standards will be embedded together to provide the most well-rounded experience possible for each student. No matter what career path a student takes, technology is a critical part in ensuring the preparedness and readiness of their future. It is my overall goal that by the end of each semester, students will understand and experience technology as a tool in solving problems, increasing productivity, and improving their quality of life. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any additional questions or concerns regarding my class.
