When your child is referred for an assistive technology evaluation. Our Assistive Technology Team will evaluate your child’s ability to access school curriculum related to reading, writing, and communication. If our team finds that your student needs extra support (keyboards, computer assistance, etc.), we will place these items in the classroom with help from the teacher and monitor your child’s progress.

At this meeting, we will be meeting with the classroom teacher, and if your child has OT or Speech we may invite them, as well. You are invited to participate, although if you are not available we will proceed with the evaluation with your permission.
