Grades are weighted for math class. The daily practice and assignments are important. Students are encouraged to get help with these items. The assessments are worth more of the overall grade because they show independent student understanding.
*Homework/Daily Work= 40%
*Assessments (quizzes/tests)= 60%
Grades are weighted for social studies class. The daily practice and assignments are important. Students are encouraged to get help with these items. The projects and assessments half of the grade as they demonstrate more of the student's independent understanding.
*Homework/Daily Work= 50%
*Assessments (quizzes/tests)= 50%
Students are encouraged to make corrections to daily work and homework to help deepen their understanding. Retakes are offered on most assessments and projects for partial credit. Talk with Mrs. Aberle if you have questions.
