About Me
My name is Teri Aberle. I grew up in the small town of Edgemont, South Dakota. I did not venture far from home as I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with Middle School minors in mathematics, science, language arts, and social studies at Black Hills State University in Spearfish, South Dakota. I participated in the South Dakota Math Counts program to help further my knowledge in mathematics education.
I am married to Jon. Together, we have three children: Michael, Jordan, and Ella.
I have been teaching since September 2007. During my first year of teaching, I taught sixth grade mathematics, English, and reading at Southwest Middle School in Rapid City, South Dakota. I then taught third grade at East/Creekside Elementary from September 2008 to May 2013. I have been teaching sixth grade at Spearfish Middle School since, and I look forward to teaching sixth grade again this year. I believe that this year will be full of new and exciting adventures for both my students and me.
