This course is designed to provide a valuable, hands-on experience in a career field of interest identified by the student. Internship gives each student an opportunity to link education and work, as the active involvement of the job place becomes a learning environment that will challenge students to higher academic skills and standards.
The core of the Internship approach includes a change in the way students are taught by focusing on application rather than lecture, and by connecting students to the world of work in their community, state, and region.
The purpose of this program is to give seniors an opportunity to expand their knowledge of a career so they can make more informed career/education decisions.
