Message from the Principal

Dear Parents, 

It is with great pleasure that I introduce you to the Rites of Passage programme 2023. 

The Rites of Passage programme has been a major component of our holistic education provision at SPCC for over twelve years. The programme provides the opportunity for our students to be challenged physically, mentally and emotionally in new and varied experiences, environments and activities. Through these challenges the students will learn and grow; developing important values, attitudes and skills in the process. 

Twenty-four days is a long time for students to be away from their parents, and as such it is important to us that both our students and their parents are adequately prepared for the programme. Therefore, I ask that you and your child read this website carefully and attend the briefings so that you both have a comprehensive understanding of what the programme involves and how to best prepare for it. 

I am confident that the Rites of Passage programme will be a valuable learning experience for our students, and one that leaves them with both lasting positive memories and growth. I wish you and your child all the very best in the learning journey ahead.
