We have come so far from our inception in 2017 to the business we are today.

Our aim is to carry on growing and continue to build good solid relationships with both our new and existing clients.

Our Journey so far

Our owner Paul established Spartan Environmental in 2017 after working within the water hygiene industry for over three decades.

Starting as a time served plumber in the late eighties he found himself carrying out plumbing work in local authority care homes as part of their legionella compliance.

Having enjoyed this type of work he set out to find a company who were more involved with these type of health and safety / compliance contracts.

He applied for a position at Brocol Consultants based in Wiltshire and not to long afterwards was taken on as a field service technician.

This role involved monitoring and inspection work, Thermostatic Mixing valve fail safe testing and servicing . During his eight years at Brocol he was also trained to carry out the maintenance, cleaning and disinfection's of both industrial cooling towers and hot & cold water systems.

In 2005 he left and took a job at Hertel Solutions as a service engineer and trainee risk assessor eventually gaining his risk assessing certificates as well as an NVQ in water management.

After ten happy years there it was time to move on and a position as a senior risk assessor was offered to him which he took and worked his way up to a contracts manager overseeing a number of employees.

Unfortunately and without warning this company went into liquidation. This is when with his industry contacts and knowledge he decided to branch out on his own.

We are extremely happy that we got through COVID relatively unscathed and will be celebrating our ninth birthday in April 2026.
