Morpheme Study
Morphemes are the smallest units of the English language that have meaning.
Students may know these parts of our language as prefixes, suffixes, and base words/roots. Once they have built the foundation, students will learn to use these parts to decode unknown words in the future.
Examples include:
Pre-, re- , -ing, phono
