Art 7 is a one marking period course in the Arts cycle. This course is designed to provide students with the opportunity to explore various art media and techniques. Being a basic content course, the concepts of Art Elements are introduced primarily in an abstract approach with some attention paid to the Principles of Design. The enhancement of some general artistic skills will be featured as well. This course will foster individual creative thinking and visual imagination through a variety of problem-based activities.
