Parent Resources
The District Six Virtual School is a semester-long commitment. Therefore students signed up for this option will not have to worry about transitioning between models, regardless of the level of spread in Spartanburg County. Students enrolled in the District Six Virtual Academy will receive individualized academic support through an academic advisor as they complete their middle school coursework via APEX.
VIRTUAL SCHOOL LUNCH OPTION
Each Monday, virtual school parents may come to their child's home school to pick up meals. Any parent who wishes to have 10 meals provided (5 breakfasts and 5 lunches) for their student, should complete this form no later than Friday before the upcoming week.
The district will charge student accounts for the 10 meals at the time of pick-up for any reimbursable meal for students. Students who qualify for free breakfast and lunch through the USDA National School Lunch Program will not be charged for any meal. Students who qualify for reduced meals through the USDA program will be charged at the reduced price meal rate.

Coaches Report
A coach is a responsible adult — such as a parent, guardian, or guidance counselor — who helps an Apex Learning student stay on track and motivated. Coaches receive a Weekly Progress report via email. By August 21st, all parents will be registered as a coach in their student's account. The email address from Virtual Academy registration will be used for the Coach report.
This report shows summary and detailed progress information for all the courses a student is actively enrolled in or has recently completed. This includes course averages, activity scores, on-time information, and time spent in the course.
