Mathematics Curriculum

Unfortunately, there is no such thing as a perfect math curriculum or textbook that will work for every student.  As Christina Tondevold, the Recovering Traditionalist, likes to say, "Fidelity to your students is greater than fidelity to your textbook."   In other words, our state standards and the needs of our students should drive our curriculum, not a textbook.    

Here in District 6, we have numerous math resources to help us meet the needs of our students and teach the South Carolina College- and Career-Ready Standards for Mathematics.   These resources include:

• Savvas Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II (South Carolina Editions)

• South Carolina Reveal Math and ALEKS for 6th-8th Grade
