TERRIFIC Kids is a program that recognizes students for developing good character, self-esteem, and perseverance. The program is sponsored by Kiwanis International. TERRIFIC is an acronym meaning: Thoughtful, Enthusiastic, Respectful, Responsible, Inclusive, Friendly, Inquisitive, and Capable. Each homeroom teacher recognizes one students per quarter for this honor. All homeroom students selected are recognized at a quarterly TERRIFIC Kid celebration. Tentative dates for quarterly celebration ceremonies are listed below.
