Scholarship Tips and Reminders:
The Scholarship List is updated weekly (sometimes even daily!), so check back often!
It is up to each student to apply for scholarships. Â
Request recommendations from teachers, counselors, and community members at least two weeks (preferably more) before you need the recommendation.
Ask the teacher or recommender to write a "generic" letter you can copy and use for multiple applications, then make copies!
You must request official transcripts from your Parchment account to be sent to universities, colleges, scholarship organizations, or professional companies.
Email your school counselor for a copy of your unofficial transcript to be sent to your D5 account.
Pay close attention to due dates; please do not wait until the last minute!
When considering class rank, be aware that the total number of seniors in the rank will go down significantly after early graduates leave in December.
Most of our local scholarships start coming in after Christmas break.
If you have an iPhone, an easy way to scan is to use the NOTES app. Start by creating a new note and use the camera icon to scan a document.
