Hours: Open Wednesdays 

Summer Hours (May 29th - early October): 9am to 10:30am 

Winter Hours (October - mid May 22) : 10am - 11:30am

Services: Food assistance to those in need: diapers for all sizes of humans, personal hygiene supplies, seasonal foods like cereals, dog & cat foods, paper towels, toilet paper. Other items are added to the list as shortages happen among suppliers.

Eligibility: Anyone

Upstate Family Resource Center

Hours: The Center is open 9am - 5pm Monday through Friday. (Mostly by appointment)

Harvest Family Ministries, utilities and food assistance program, is open Monday through Wednesday, 9am - 3pm, by appointment.

Services: Family Support, Adult Education (ESOL, GED, SC thrive, Strive to Thrive University, Income tax assistance), Family Development (Positive Parenting Program, PASO’s, Teen parent support), Food Pantry, Utilities Assistance, Counseling Services

Eligibility: Anyone with documented need, Typically one must be resident in District 2 or District 1. D2 Gets preference and not all assistance is available to non D2 residents.

Fee: No Fee

Application Procedure: All services are by appointment only. For food and utility assistance: Bring personal photo ID, Social Security cards for everyone in the household, and proof of all income (pay stub, unemployment, child support, food stamp, disability, ...) or proof of how you are paying your bills. There are several forms to fill out.

For utility assistance: Also bring a current utility bill and disconnect notice.

Service Area: All District 2 and District 1 Communities. All D2 communities are served with first preference.

Financial Assistance - only offered on Monday to qualified clients who have met with our director. Help on a limited basis.  

Eligibility: Based on Need. Must provide proof of identity and necessary paperwork for financial assistance. For rent, bring note from landlord. For medication, bring prescription.
