Health Screenings

Every year, Spartanburg One provides free health screenings per SC DHEC guidelines:

Vision - 9th grade (provided by Landrum Lions Club)
Hearing - 10th grade (provided by USC Upstate School of Nursing students)
Blood Pressure - 11th grade (provided by USC Upstate School of Nursing students)
Dental - all grades (non-invasive service provided by Healthy Smiles of Spartanburg)

A letter will be sent home with any abnormal findings.

Screenings are optional, if you choose to opt-out, please complete the Health Screening Waiver below and return to the school.

If you choose to decline school screening, please complete this form and return to the school.

Our dental screenings are provided by Healthy Smiles of Spartanburg. This screening is a non-invasive dental examination (using a tongue depressor when needed and flashlight). This does not take the place of a dental visit and annual cleanings. Please call 592-4696 if you have any questions or visit them on the web at https://www.healthysmilesonline.org/

Vision screenings are provided by the Lions Club.
