Every year, Spartanburg One provides free health screenings as recommended by the South Carolina Department of Public Health
Vision - 9th grade (provided by Landrum Lions Club)
Hearing - 10th grade (provided by USC Upstate School of Nursing)
Blood Pressure - 11th grade (provided by USC Upstate School of Nursing)
Dental - all grades (non-invasive service provided by Healthy Smiles of Spartanburg)
Parents/Guardians are notified of any abnormal findings and recommendations.
Screenings are optional. Please complete the Health Screening Waiver below and return to the school nurse if you wish to opt out of any screenings.

This screening is a non-invasive dental examination (using a tongue depressor when needed and flashlight). This does not take the place of a dental visit and annual cleanings. Vision screenings are provided by the Lions Club.
