When was Campobello Gramling School founded?
Campobello Gramling School was founded in 1968. CGS just recently celebrated its 50th Anniversary!
How old must my child be to register for school?
The child must be 5 years old on or before September 1st for Kindergarten. The child must be 4 years old on or before September 1st for 4K.
What time does school start?
The first bell rings at 7:40 am and the second bell is at 7:45 am. Anyone that is not in their homeroom at that time is considered tardy.
What do I do when my child is absent?
When your child is absent from school you are not required to call the school. When the student returns, you must send either a note from a physician or a note written by the parent stating the following:
The student's first and last name
Reason of absence
Date of absence
Parent Signature
When does my child eat lunch?
- 4K: 12:35-1:00 pm
- Kindergarten: 10:40-11:05 am
- 1st Grade: 10:45-11:10 am
- 2nd Grade: 10:55-11:20 am
- 3rd Grade: 11:05-11:25 am
- 4th Grade: 11:30-11:50 am
- 5th Grade: 11:50-12:10 pm
- 6th Grade: 12:10-12:30 pm
- 7th Grade: 12:50-1:10 pm
- 8th Grade: 12:50-1:10 pm
How do I contact my child's teacher?
You may call the school at (864) 472-9110 and arrange for a conference. You may email your child's teacher through the email addresses listed on this website. You may send a note to the teacher (via your student) to set up a meeting time. If you would like to call to speak to your child's teacher, you may do so at the following times during the school day:
- 4K: 11:00-11:30 am
- Kindergarten: 1:00-1:40 pm
- 1st Grade: 9:20-10:00 am
- 2nd Grade: 10:05-10:45 am
- 3rd Grade: 8:35-9:15 am
- 4th Grade: 7:50-8:30 am
- 5th Grade: 10:45-11:25 am
- 6th Grade: 1:45-2:25 pm
- 7th Grade: 11:30-12:10 pm
- 8th Grade: 11:30-12:10 pm
What is our grading system?
District One Schools use the approve 10-point grading scale:
A = 90-100
B = 80-89
C = 70-79
D = 60-69
F = Below 60
